From office happy hours to celebratory toasts, alcohol has long been a part of workplace culture, and organizations need to factor substance use support into their wellbeing initiatives through benefits and workplace awareness.
Join us as Dr. Terri-Lynn MacKay and Robin Bouvier, Vice President of Aon’s Health Transformation Team, provide insights into the changing attitudes around alcohol in the workplace, evidence-based approaches, and crisis management for alcohol use concerns.
1. Explore the benefits of taking a preventative approach to substance use: Identify and address employees who may be struggling in the early stages before it becomes a costly disability claim.
2. Recognize shifting mindsets: Develop strategies to engage with a growing population of sober-curious employees or those who want to learn to be more mindful of their consumption.
3. Learn how to avoid stressful and costly crisis management: Find out how virtual, on-demand substance use tools, resources, and coaching support can significantly improve organizational wellbeing and productivity.
4. Effective crisis management: Access tools for successful crisis management.
